Norway Opens NOK 11 Million Investment Support for Traditional Dairy-Farm Skills and Jobs

On 3 November, the Norwegian Agriculture Agency announced NOK 11 million in 2027 grants for investments supporting milk production at traditional mountain farms. Eligible businesses can receive a one-time grant of NOK 500,000 per farm for production buildings, fixed equipment and infrastructure, with recipients required to continue milk production for at least ten years. The programme supports rural employment and specialist agricultural skills. HPC can support workforce assessments, training plans and rural-business development research.
